Crime & Punishment in Ephebe

Theft in here is largely ignored. Again, the victims may not be too happy with you should you fail but there is no official response to larceny.

Killing of shopkeepers will incur a ban or higher prices on items.

Citadel guards and hoplites have long memories. Fighting someone in the same room as they are in will get them upset. I have had instances where they killed me and then attacked me th enext time I ran into them.

On the western side of town there is a notice listing those people who are on the naughty list and those on the very naughty list (you have to be able to read Ephebian).
